Born in Munich in 1972, Roswitha Ester studied history and German studies in Cologne and Bologna. During her studies, she was engaged as a freelance journalist, while also working for theater, film and television as an assistant director and performing numerous other functions. After her studies, she was active as a dramaturge in Cologne’s independent theater scene and performed various duties at Geißendörfer Film- und Fernsehproduktion from 1999 to 2007. Since 2008, she has been a managing partner at Ester.Reglin.Film Produktionsgesellschaft mbH in Cologne.
Torsten Reglin
Born in Prenzlau in 1969, Torsten Reglin received vocational training as a skilled construction worker and completed the German university entrance exams (Abitur). In 1991, he began his studies in Theater and Culture Studies at the Humboldt-University Berlin and then studied Film and Television Dramaturgy at HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg. After completing his studies, Reglin was active as a dramaturge at MTM Medien und Television. From 2001 to 2003, he was Head of Development for Film Production and Columbia Pictures Germany and from February 2004 to 2007 dramaturge and producer for Geißendörfer Film- und Fernsehproduktion. Since 2009, he has been a managing partner at Ester.Reglin.Film Produktionsgesellschaft mbH in Cologne. In addition, Reglin is Deputy Chairman at Filmbüro NW.
